Left and Right Image Spacing error

Postby essexgou » Tue Jun 05, 2007 10:52 pm

Hi,

I have added the calender to my site and it is working perfectly, however, when I add the calander to one of my site tables, for some reason the left and right arrow gif images space apart, which then knocks the month and year drop downs out, as shown:

Where as I have saved the demo form in my site, set up exactly the same way (albeit different tables etc) using the same javascript and css, although I do not get the error:

I have not set any margins, padding or spacing in my form table and only have one css value that affects the page body - I have tried deleting this, although this does not remedy the prob.

I know it is an asthetic error, although it does affect the overall appearance of what is a great calendar.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this??

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Sarah.

Follow up:

I have changed the doctype to both:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">
&
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">

Although the calendar then shows perfectly, the rest of my page/site is totally messed up........

Does anyone please know of a solution??
