I've been trying to get the form validator to recognise that a date has been selected in the calendar control, so flag a required field as having data in it. However, selecting a date doesn't change the red cross to a green tick, presumably because no events are fired on the input field.

Can you advise a way to automatically flag the date field as being completed when a date is selected in the calendar?
