As I did not find an explicit forum category for the DHTML week planner script, I'l post my comment here.

This script is a great demonstration of the combination of state-of-the-art techniques like AJAX, DHTML drag&drop and XML.

I could imagine it to be used as part of of a comfortable user interface for a complete PHP/mySQL-based calender application!

Maybe there's a solution for dragging resp. copying events to other weeks and for dragging just the begin of an event and not the whole event?!

Yes, there are probably solutions to the issues you mention here. I have actually not thought of that functionality.

Have you some sugestions regarding how copying of events and dragging of responsibility should work?

As to the dragging the start of an event, the only problem may be how to distinguish between dragging this and dragging the entire event. Perhaps a ctrl click drag is the solution!?

wouldn't it be better if the detail popup showed up right after jou selected a time instead of the textarea?

i'm trying to get this done, but have no ide where to do this. I need the saved(to database) id# and the textarea should not appear....
