balloon tooltip + css

i'm using the balloon tooltip on my site and am having what i think is a layering problem with my css.

currently, my balloons are showing up above the text which runs them into (and under) my top nav bar.

any way to fix this? maybe by simply showing the balloons underneath the text rather than above?
