Help regarding which script(EXACT NAME): ajax script

I need to know if your ajax script has the ability to grab all of the elements from a form and create a variable of the element name and value that can be put into say a url.. example

elements:values
name:bob
phone:800-800-8000

and so on.

but can it be put into a variable called params with a value of this: name=bob&phone=800-800-8000

so that it can be passed to a page that can handle the form.

any help would be appreciated.

I have a script called prototype that can already do this.. but It conflicts with the dhtmlgoodies scripts.

thanks in advance!

:P
