Hi,

I was able to run the entire script "as is" successfully as presented on the site locally on my computer.

I have a registration form (with many fields) and I need to have the user enter an ID number that will fill in another text box on the form with a price pulled from a MySql table.

This code seemed the perfect answer but when I try to run it within my current php reg form it doesn't work (modifying the field name firstname to CodeAmount). I removed the other form fields in the getClient.php file. Does this code require the filling in of all form fields or can it be modified to just fill in one after the ID number is entered?

Do I need to modify anything to make that occur? I tried removing all other javascripts and still would not function (just to be sure there were bo conflicts).

I am doing this in DreamweaverCS3 with recordsets.

Your troubleshooting tips got me through it and it works! The getClientID.php file on my Dreamweaver doc didn't like the include that Dreamweaver provides, so I hardcoded the db connection and voila!
