I have even tried inserting in your ajax_showContent function after the innerHTML is loaded:

var anchor = document.location.hash.split("#");
var anchor_node = document.getElementById(anchor[1]);
if (anchor_node) {
window.scrollTo(0, anchor_node.offsetTop)}

It scrolls somewhere but not far enough.

If i put here windows.scrollTo(0,0) at least it scrolls to the top of the page

Not working, I use this:

var anchor = document.location.hash.split("#");
var anchor_node = document.getElementsByName(anchor[1]);
if (anchor_node) {
window.scrollTo(0, getTopPos(anchor_node));
}

With your function now to find anchor. Anchor is defined with ID and NAME tag's, but neither document.getElementsByName nor document.getElementByID returns other than null.

I fear that the anhors in loaded DIV are not seen by the "outside" world. Is that possible?

Any help on jumping to anchors would still be appreacited.
