The error was was caused by the data not being in the database. I made a fresh install of the poll when I set up my site on the new server and uploaded all of my edited files from my saved back-up files. Then I FORGOT TO IMPORT MY DATABASE. I have corrected this issue and the poll is now working on my site.
I hope at least this post helps somebody in the future.
