In the article 'Drag and Drop to Columns' you show how to move around elements (LI's) into specified regions (containers). I love it! On top of that, is it possible to limit an item as to which containers it can move to as well - instead of simply being able to move anywhere? It would be great for example to be able to say that items 1-5 can go into containers 1-2 only while items 6-10 can go into containers 3-4.

This proves really useful in CMS systems where it's common to have a left or right column full of snippets of some sort. It would be great if on top of being able to select which ones would appear, you can decide their order on the fly by using your script. However, you cannot allow snippets that go only on the left hand column of a website to be added on the right hand side as well.

I hope I am making myself clear. Any ideas?
