z-index issue in IE6: list based DHTML menu

Postby hankknight » Mon Mar 05, 2007 2:27 am

Hello,

I just love this menu:

http://www.dhtmlgoodies.com/index.html? ... dies_menu2
http://www.dhtmlgoodies.com/scripts/dht ... menu2.html

But it does not work correctly with IE6.

The problem is that there is a z-index issue in IE6 that causes the menu to be placed BEHIND <select> input items.

I understand that this can be fixed using IFRAMEs but I don't know how to do this myself and I ONLY want the iFrame fix to be applied to users of IE5.5 or IE6.

How can this be fixed?

Thanks!

Hi Guys

I am having the same problem but with the menu items appearing behind a Flash movie.

Does anyone have any ideas about how to solve it.

Great script btw.
