Close menu on menu item click?

This menu is fantastic. However, I have a few issues I am running into:

1. How do I get the submenu to close when a choice is selected? I am using AJAX to call pages, so I need to close the submenu manually.

2. One submenu (the one for Living History Productions) lines up correctly. But the the other submenu (for Tours) lines up one item too high - so the first submenu item overlays the main menu item. Any ideas why?

** UPDATE --> #2 SOLVED **
I didn't have an <a> tag for the main menu item. I just put an <a href="#"></a> around the item and it was fine.
