Are there a way to make a onclick function ?

I will like to do, so I only make a mysql call when I click on the tab where its needed.

I hope there are someone there can help with the problem.

This would be so useful, I don't want to populate a tab until the user clicks on it.

I'd like to create each tab empty (apart from the standard ajax loading graphic), and then retrieve the content when the tab is clicked, and then replace the graphic with the actual content.

Yiir something like that, but how do you do that ?
