Javascript in windows ?

Hy
I observed this problem. And, it cannot be resolved directly the js files of the author are unreadable
Nevertheless, we can hide the problem by two ways :
- the firs, is while you put the js code in the html page (not in a js file). Here, what i saw is that the code functions in firefox browser and not in IE.
Be sure that when you write "document.getElementById()" it does not interfere between the two pages (same id);
- the second is putting your code in a js file. Here, the link to the js file must be relative to the CONTAINER html file, not to the contained one.
Also here, be careful to the interferance between the container and the contained file. My tries have demonstrated that this works in firefow but not in IE.
I can suggest another way, the wrongest, but works in both browser, is to put the entire js code of the contained file in the container one, and do the same of the html code (between the <body> and </body> of the contained). Here, you'll be sure that it will work, but, it's realy a wrong way to use.
What can i say ? Avoid using files containing js code !
