I'm trying to create a function to close a dhtml popup window which is created with the following code:

var newWindowModel = new DHTMLSuite.windowModel({windowsTheme:true,id:'newNote',title:'New Note',xPos:150,yPos:50,minWidth:300,minHeight:300 } );
newWindowModel.addTab({ id:'myTab1',htmlElementId:'myTab1',tabTitle:'Details'} );
var newWindowWidget = new DHTMLSuite.windowWidget(newWindowModel);
newWindowWidget.init();

newWindowWidget.setWidthOfWindow(500)
newWindowWidget.setHeightOfWindow(500)
newWindowWidget.loadContent('myTab1','Notes/EditNote.asp?PartnerID='+PartnerID+'&NoteID='+NoteID)

I cannot get newWindowWidget.close() to work when call in a seperate function.
document.getElementById('newNote').display='none' does not work - the window div seems not to have an id.

Any help greatly appreciated.

We are having the same problem, how did you resolve this?
