how to do let the tree's parentId support 32bytes

hi,i visited this demo.it's very good.

my question is:
why do ParentId only support 12 bytes at last?I had an Application which need Support 32 bytes of ParentId,so how to do?

I wasn't aware of this problem. Can you explain a little bit what the problem is. I can't see why the script shouldn't support more than 12 characters/bytes.

my background server is domino database,i want use the dynamic-ajax-tree in my app


because the app's data have a key with 32 characters,but the tree's parentId only support 12 characters,so i can't use it in my app,can you help me to modify the tree?
