paneSplitter.loadContent URL check

Hi to all and compliments for the great work.

I've a little question about DHTML Suite For Application: there's a way to know the latest URL loaded into a Pane? This possibile check may be useful to prevent the loading of data already present in the same target panel.

Hi Shaman and welcome to the forum

the load method won't load the content if it's allready present in the pane. Example: open some of the demos twice. As you can see, they are not reloaded the second time you choose them from the menu.

There's something I don't understand (I think it is a my technical missing).
I take a look to dhtml suite and It is true: if I load the same url in the same pane the page isn't reloaded....

But... I would like to open the new contents in the same pane, and the pane is the [0] pane (i don't use new tabs but only the first and only one paneSplitterContentModel, ex: westContent, created in this way:

var paneWest = new DHTMLSuite.paneSplitterPaneModel( { position : "west", id:"westPane",size:200,minSize:100,maxSize:300,scrollbars:true } );
paneWest.addContent( new DHTMLSuite.paneSplitterContentModel( { id:"westContent",htmlElementId:'westContent',title:'Elenco',tabTitle:'West pane',closable:false } ) );

)

Actually to open files in this pane I use:
paneSplitter.loadContent('westContent','includes/filename.php',0);

I don't remember if this a standard method or a my fantasy-method..

... so every loading is a new loading and a new refresh for the pane...

Must I use new tabs in order to obtain the goal?
