That is strange. Alf uses href="#" all over in the demo menus, I use them in my menus and have never had a problem. If it was the anchor itself, javascript:void(0) works also.

I know what you mean about the dumb stuff. Seems it accounts for 90% of development time.

I tried void, moving the function into href="javascript:...", none of which worked. The inline div seems to be the only thing that allows this to function.

Very odd indeed!
