Rounded Corners Script Question

I have a layout where I expect to be blending three corners to 3 different background colors.
When I simply do an addelement 3 times I get the equivalent of 3 divs.
Is there a way I can override the script to take more than one corner background color, or would it be easier to do a chopping up into more than 1 div and overlap them?
