Image files & license issues.

Hello, and thank you for your DHTML chessboard. I understand that the script itself is under an LGPL license, so I understand how that works. However, the page states that the images and other media files are not under LGPL and are not to be used on other sites.

While it turns out your dhtml board is not quite what I was looking for (very well done, just not for my purpose), the images you are using for the boards are really very nice, and I'd love to be able to use them on my own (non-commercial) site I'm working on. I understand that this is not permitted without a license so i would like to hear how i might go about getting permission for this if that is something you would be willing to work out.
