South pane tabs are misaligned on first draw

Postby pyite » Sat Sep 13, 2008 6:40 pm

I am having a problem using DHTMLSuite's paneSplitter functionality.

Specifically, it seems that on both IE, FireFox and Opera, on the initial draw of the panes I've defined, the tabs on the south pane do not line up correctly. They get drawn about 15 pixels below the bottom of the page, "clipping" them. They are still click-able, and upon first click, they all redraw/re-align and everything works fine.

How do I:
a) Prevent this from happening
or.. b) Force a redraw of the tabs on the south pane after the initial screen is painted?

Either of these would fix the problem. After much reviewing of the source it seems that setSize() is called multiple times from various places and is ultimately responsible for recalculating the positioning of these items. Not sure if that helps.

Here is the example I'm referring two. The first image represents the clipped display. The second image represents what happens after you click a tab for the first time.
