Dynamic List Bug?

Hi all,

can someone help me out with fixing this problem? All in all, it's a great script, but I'm banging my head trying to figure out what the fix is.




-in country, type 'united'
-'tab' out of the country
-shift tab to go back to country
-with 'united' highlighted, type 'u','n','i' The results are erroneous. I have no clue why this is

What's happening when you uses shift+tab and types "Uni" ? When I do it(Internet Explorer and Firefox) it displays the 3 countries which starts with "Uni".

Very strange. It's not behaving like that when I try it in IE and Firefox.

Does the same thing happen when you use uppercase "U" ? Perhaps it's a problem with lowercase vs. uppercase.

upper or lower case U would show the same as in image

seems it's dependant on the 'N' in 'united'. if it's capitalized, as in 'uN' or 'UN' the results are correct.

i'm so confused.

Argh, i tried it again and for some reason, it's behaving normally regardless of shift tabbing and/or capitalization.

I have made a modification to the script now, so that it doesn't distinguish between lowercase and uppercase. How does it work now?

Yes, I uploaded it.

Strange....

You can try to delete cache and then try the script again. It's difficult for me to test this since I'm not experiencing the same problems as you do.

I'm gonna try to do some more testing and give more concrete examples. I'll hit you up later on it.
