problem with readRSS.php

the url I want to use for the feed is similar to
http://news.google.com/news?ned=us&topic=t&output=rss

However readRSS kicks me in the junk when i try to feed it a url like that.

is there some syntax i should be using to pass that url?

my new problem, probably due to renaming the .html file to .php to make it work, is that the div is filling with all the html of the rss story, its not getting processed.

nevermind, its the same problem even if its .htm

any suggestions?

Ok, gay google puts html in their <description> tag. So my real question is I want to know if its possible for the page to process the html that shows up in the div from the gay google rss.
