Folder tree with drag and drop: adding and removing nodes

I'm going to hack on this today, to see if I can either intercept the extra expand/collpse indicators and folder images before they're inserted in the DOM, or find and eliminate them after they're inserted. But, any tips or directionwould be appreciated...

Could you please clarify which code snippets belong in which files?

I can see the obvious, however your version of the ajax is different than the sack version, or is it in a separate .js file?

A visual of folders and files and which files contain which subroutines would help

ie: index.whatever contains the UL series and the tree initialization routines.

included by way of script tags are:

customajax.js - addons added for this version of the script
ajax.js - sack version of ajax include
ddft.js [ holds all initial ddft routines ]
abc.js [ holds all custom/add on routines including the def js routines that do 123

not to be a pain, but I know I got a bit confused about which files to place certain portions of code and ended up stubbornly doing the trial and error approach for days... UG!

Here is a good one that seems like it would be easy, I am just not sure where you would place the code to make it work.

Once the visitor drags and drops a "node", I want it to do the save changes routine once the mouse lets go of the node in its new location.

(obviously, we would want the values of the new location to be set before calling the save routine)

This makes it more intuitive so users do not have to update (or save or whatever) the database before continuing to work with the tree.

Nevermind, I did it.

I placed the saveMyTree_byForm() call at the end of the dropDragableNodes function, just in case anyone wants to know.
