So I tried turning this:
<a href="#" onclick="navigateToElement(false,document.getElementById("toc_link2");return false">Navigate</a>

Into:
<a onclick="navigateToElement(false,document.getElementById(" toc_link2");return false"
href="credit_general/default.htm">Increasing number of IVAs</a>

but I get a syntax error when I try loading this page and clicking just drops me to the first content item - but I get your thinking - so does the page I'm navigating from need to have the same js loaded perhaps?

Should it work from any page as long as the hyperlink syntax is correct?

Heh! Still no joy - I get an error ')' expected with the above - so I tried adding it here:

And that gets rid of the error, but it doesn't jump to the place. I also tried:

href="credit_general/default.htm">Increasing number of IVAs</a>

But that gives errors too!
