how to make it work with Ajax? initGallery

Okay,
Drag drop with normal static page works fine.

yet for more dynamic websites, that use Ajax to grab new images or content to replace a DIV area.


I set a initGallery(); to run after getting the Ajax GET data is loaded, I am able to select a Image and see the Drop off marker, BUT on mouseup (drop image) its not doign anyhting, just stays at the same spot.

So I guess the Drag Drop can only work with Static Pages that loaded first time. something to do with the html code or what?


I am looking for a way to get drag drop image gallery working along with Ajax DIV contentet replace.

Curently i have a static working version of drag drop as example shows on demo page within dhtmlgoodies.com, yet like to know if can work with dyanmic content as above.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

The drag and drop image gallery should also work with dynamic content, at least I can't see any reason why it shouldn't.

Do you have a link where I can see the problem?

yes i post some sample scripts..


what happens it Javascript thinks the old HTML is still in the DVI area, and its not picking up on the new HTML code called in by AJAX.
