Batalf,

I'm trying to modify so that it expands all nodes if this is a user's first visit (meaning user has no cookie with data in it).

I can figure out if that is the case, however I am having troubles calling your "expandAll()" function via body "onload". No error, just not doing anything.

Must you only run this function from a mouse click?? :?:

Hello again Mike

The script allready has a window.onload function(or <body onload.. if you like).

What you can do is to remove your onload from the body and just call expandAll() at the bottom of the initTree() function.
