Modal-message woes

Hi Alf / Chris etc

I would like to know if the following is possible...

i want to use the modal-message script on a page then when you click on a link it calls a form say form.php

once the user has filled out the form it should post the vars to thanks.php and display a thank you message, in the same modal-message window

is this possible to do ?
