I have a list with items, which all open in a new tab with the OpenPage function. Now I use the ID of the items as tab id in order to have unique tabs. But now I'd need some additional info, like for example 'edit_mode' or 'display_mode', since you can update the item's content.
In order to avoid parsing strings in the tab id (for example edit_1245), I would like to retrieve the id of the currently displayed tab (achieved with paneSplitter.getIdOfCurrentlyDisplayedContent('center')) and then the title of the tab (i. e. 'edit') so I now it's in edit mode. I would not like to parse the tab id as in 'edid_12345'.
