inline search

hi guys,
i know this is a pretty big shot in the dark but has anybody managed to integrate a search engine into Dynamic Suite

im currently setting up a knowledge base type app that calls pages via the openPage function. theses are just separate php files.

im looking for something that can index externally called pages and the display the results into a tab.

i have tried TSEP - but haven't which successfully crawls the pages but i cant get it to open the result in a tab.

any thoughts / suggestions?

tsep looks interesting. What problems are you having integrating the output?

Is the data you are searching in html or in a database? If it is in text fields in a db, mysql's full text search is fairly good in V 5+.

hiya,

pretty much what it says in the first post i cant get then search results to open in a tab. nor can i get the actual links provided by the search to open in different tabs.

im trying to avoid databases at the moment as the indexing server in TSEP is doing a good job scanning the files and providing quick results. its just getting it to the stage where i have a search box in the west pane that then opens the search results in a tab on the center pane.
