Ajax_loadCOntent (problem)

Hi to all,
have a serious problem with a website that i have developed. The site is this: http://www.universitybox.com
You can view that when observed the site the cpu usage increase to 100% and the browser memory usage increase and some time it arrive 100mb and more!!!
I have used the ajax_loadContent to load the content of every single box and i have modified the script.I have insert the settimeout for reload the box after a short time.

What employs all these resources?

CPU usage is probably related to all the flash objects. I saw about 15% cpu usage.

I did not notice huge memory consumption (Firefox) so it may be an ie specific memory leak.
